Who is eligible for Vera services?

Vera Health Centers are available to nonunion Boeing employees and employees represented by unions that align with nonunion medical benefits* and early retirees who are enrolled in a Boeing-sponsored health care plan option administered by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois including Embright Preferred Partnership Plan options and reside in Washington state. Covered spouses and domestic partners and covered dependents who reside in Washington state are also eligible. (Union-represented employee eligibility is dependent on the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.)

*IUOE Local 302 Power Plant, IAFF I-66 employees as well as employees formerly represented by IUOE Local 302 Power Plant, IAFF I-66, SPFPA Local 2 and 5.

I live outside of the Puget Sound area, can I access Vera services?

Yes, Vera virtual services are available to all eligible members throughout Washington State. However, for primary care, chronic condition management, and some acute care needs, an in-person appointment may be appropriate.

What will I pay for Vera services?

Through your Boeing benefits, Vera services are available at low- to no-cost to you:

**Some services might be better treated in a physical therapy clinic. Vera will refer you to our partner clinic that offers these services and can seamlessly continue your care. Your Vera provider will be an integral part of your care.
***Each clinic has a select number of medications available to accommodate common first fill needs such as antibiotics. This provides an added convenience to leave the clinic with medication in hand. For all other prescription fills and ongoing maintenance medications you will use your local retail pharmacy or mail order service as normal.

Are Vera primary care providers accepting new patients?

All Vera providers are currently accepting new eligible patients. This includes our primary care providers (PCPs), primary care nurse practitioners, health coaches, behavioral health clinicians, and diabetes educators.

How do I schedule an appointment with Vera?

Making a first-time appointment with Vera providers is fast and easy—call us at 206-607-8430.

Can I make an appointment with a primary care doctor in the evening?

Check the hours of operation for the care center near you to confirm availability. Virtual visits are also available during care center hours.

For after-hours care, call 206-607-8430 to speak with a nurse who can help assess your symptoms or clinical concerns. If necessary, you’ll be connected to an on-call Vera provider for further assistance.

What should I bring with me to an appointment with a Vera provider?

It's important to prepare before an appointment to make sure your primary care provider is well-informed and better equipped to deliver the highest quality care.

Here's what to bring to a Vera doctor's appointment:

Your insurance card
Your driver's license or another valid photo ID
A list of current prescription medications you're taking
A copy of your medical records from a previous primary care physician (if you have access to them)
Information about your health history, including any past surgeries or conditions
The name and contact info of your specialists
Any questions you may have

Can Vera fill prescriptions during my appointment?

Do you see pediatric patients?

Yes, we provide pediatric sick/acute care to patients 3-17 years old in several of our care centers. Unfortunately, we do not offer ongoing pediatric primary or preventive care at this time.
